- If you have access to the Badgerloop Gmail account, log in and go to Calendar
- If you do not, don’t worry! You can make a Google Calendar event via your wiscmail and add Badgerloop as a guest.
- b.Be sure to add to Weekly meetings, as this is the currently the only calendar to get posted to Slack
- Click on the calendar on the date/time you want to hold the meeting.
- Enter your event information (Add a location if possible!)
- Add Guests: Invite people to your event. If you add them via their wiscmail, they will get a request through outlook.
- Save! You’re all set. Meetings will post to #Announcements on Monday mornings, and any updates you make and reminders it’ll post to random
It’s nice to disable calendar events during breaks for school, like Winter break or Spring break.
Google Calendar for Team Events for Slack Use the Google Calendar for Team Events app to post event notifications from your team's shared calendars to a Slack channel. Tip: To allow members to access their personal calendars in Slack, install the Google Calendar app. Connect a shared calendar to Slack. Connect your Google Calendar to Slack From your desktop, click Apps at the top of your left sidebar. If you don't see this option, click More to find it. Search for and select Google Calendar to open the app. From the app's Home tab, click Connect an account and follow the prompts. Click Open Slack. Need to keep up to date when certain events are added to Google Calendar? Search for any term and automatically have those new events sent to Slack so that you're always in the loop. Note: This Zapier integration doesn't import already created Google Calendar events.

- Open badgerloop.slack.com/apps/manage
- Click on Google Calendar for Team Events
- Click on Enable / Disable.
- Slack currently posts to #Announcements and #Random. Enable/disable both calendar integrations.
